News on HS2 in Hillingdon

Ruislip Golf Course is due to close to the public on 27 August in preparation for when HS2 takes full possession of the site on 2 September.

We have worked to keep the golf course open to the public for as long as possible, however we are now at the stage where closure of the golf course is unavoidable.

We need to carry out archaeological investigations along the southern part of the course. The area was identified as potentially being of archaeological importance and there is a limited time frame to explore this before we begin construction works.

The existing fencing will be extended to protect the work sites. Footpaths that are Public Rights of Way will be kept open during these works.
