News on HS2 in Hillingdon

From 24 February 2021, we will be creating two small work sites next to Breakspear Road South and in the fields next to Ickenham Cricket Club grounds.

We will be working with Instalcom to redirect the overhead electricity cables in the HS2 work area. Instalcom Ltd (working on behalf of SSEN), will create these sites. From the first site, we will launch a small tunnel boring machine that will drill underground towards the east. It will travel underneath the River Pinn and emerge within the second site. The machine will then return along the tunnel that has been created, pulling electricity cables back to the first site.

Your electricity supply will not be affected.
