News on HS2 in Hillingdon

Costain Skanska Joint Venture are continuing the preparatory works on behalf of HS2 Ltd, which will involve the full closure of a section of Breakspear Road South between the Chiltern railway bridge and Grays Cottages, from 22 October until 9 November.

The closure has to take place to accommodate a number of works that include the installation of drainage across Breakspear Road South, the diversion of an existing water main to enable the construction of a new access road into the Merck, Sharpe and Dohme site, and the disconnection of services to enable the demolition of various buildings.
