News on HS2 in Hillingdon

We will be closing a section of Breakspear Road South this weekend, close to our site entrance to undertake some repairs in the road. We have been regularly inspecting the road following our recent closure and we have found some manhole covers which need to be repaired.

We understand these works will affect road users and the local community and we apologise for the late notice.

To minimise the impacts to road users the closure is being undertaken during night time hours when traffic is lighter. the road will be fully closed between 8pm on Saturday 21 September until 4am on Sunday 22 September. From Sunday 4am to 8am a single lane closure with two way temporary lights will be in place. We will remove all traffic management by 8am on Sunday morning.

The same diversion implemented during the latest closure will be in place and access will be maintained to residential properties. Advance warning signs will be installed as early as possible before works commence. Access only signs will be displayed, with operatives present for the duration of the closure.
