Update on Utility Diversion Works: Archaeological Trail Trenches

Prior to utilities diversion work within the London Borough of Hillingdon, a number of activities will take place at two locations; to the east and the west of Harvil Road which includes archaeological trial trenching and mitigation. This work will be carried out by a Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) registered Archaeological Contractor and will comprise a phase of trial trenching to identify areas of archaeological potential.

The archaeological trench surveys started on Harvil Road during the week commencing 29 January and it is anticipated that the works will last for a duration of three weeks.

*Please note that notification of these works was sent to local residents by post in advance of works starting.
